Delhi University has given affiliation to 91 colleges, which have further been divided into North campus, South campus and Off campus. Admission to most of the DU courses 2020 will be offered on the basis of the qualifying marks in 12th equivalent exam. However, admission to 14 UG programmes is offered through an entrance test. The selection of the best college among these many options becomes very confusing and hard for the students. North Campus colleges of Delhi University (DU)

1. Aditi Mahavidyalaya (W)

Aditi Mahavidyalaya is a North Campus girls college in Delhi University which was established in 1994. This college offers courses in Arts and Commerce stream. 2. Daulat Ram College (W)

Daulat Ram college is a North Campus girls college in Delhi University which was established in 1960. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. It also offers additional courses in foreign languages and women & development. By showing excellent performance in academics and sports, it acquired the star college status from the Government of India.

3. Delhi School of Economics

Delhi School of Economics is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1949 by V.K.R.V Rao with then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s support. By imparting quality education, the college has given our country many leading academics, educators, policy makers and journalists.

4. HansRaj College

HansRaj college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1948. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. With alumni like Shah Rukh Khan and Anurag Kashyap, Hans Raj College is one of the well-known and highly reputed college in Delhi University. 5. Hindu College

Hindu college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1899. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. This college was awarded A+ grade by NAAC. This college has a very feasible fee structure i.e. fees for Science course is just Rs 8000 – 10,000 while for Arts course its just Rs 5000 – 6000.

6. Indraprastha College (W)

Indraprastha college is a North Campus girls college in Delhi University which was established in 1924. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream but the USP of this college is its BA (Hons) course in Mass Media and Mass Communication, which is ranked among the best in the country. This college is one in the six colleges offering Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) course.

7. Kirori Mal College

Kirori Mal College is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1954. This college offers courses in Science and Commerce stream. With alumni like Amitabh Bachchan, Kirori Mal college is one of the top and highly reputed college in Delhi University. 8. Miranda House (W)

Miranda House college is a North Campus girls college in Delhi University which was established in 1948. This college offers courses in Arts and Science stream. 9. Ramjas College

Ramjas college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1917. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. This college is one of the oldest and top commerce colleges in DU and its one of the first three colleges established under DU in 1922. It also offers language courses in French, German, Spanish and Italian languages.

10. St. Stephen’s college

St. Stephen’s college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1881. This college offers courses in Arts and Science stream. 11. Satyawati College

Satyawati college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1992. This college is named after the great freedom fighter, Behen Satyawati. 12. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)

Shri Ram College of Commerce college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1926. This college offers courses in Arts and Commerce stream. This college got third rank in NIRF 2017 list and its one of the top college in DU for Commerce and Economics courses. 13. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1984 and named after the tenth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. It is a premier institute, specializing in commerce, economics, business studies and computer science.

14. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur (SGTB) Khalsa College

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur (SGTB) Khalsa college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1951 and named after the ninth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. This college is a constituent of Delhi University.

15. Swami Shraddhanand College

Swami Shraddhanand college is a North Campus college in Delhi University which was established in 1967, run under the trusteeship of the Delhi government. This college is named after Arya Samaj educationist, Swami Shraddhanand. This college offers courses in all Arts, Commerce and Science stream. The college is one of the premier institutions of Delhi University.
